Tanzania is a vast land rich in natural resources situated on the East Coast of Africa. The country is bordered to the North by Kenya, north west by Uganda, west by the Democratic Republic of Congo (formerly Zaire) and south west by Zambia and Malawi to the south.

Of the two sea fronting East African countries, Tanzania has the longest coastline of over 900 kilometers, most of it virgin white sands. Some of these beaches are on remote strips while other like those of the islands of Zanzibar and Pemba are much visited. Therefore whether you wish for company and would like to spend your vacations in isolated beaches, there is something for everyone.
